Data privacy

1 General

We only process your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, email address, telephone number) in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law and the data protection law of the European Union (EU). The following provisions inform you about the processing purposes, legal bases, recipients, storage periods, as well as your rights and the person responsible for your data processing. This data protection declaration only applies to our websites. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our pages, please find out there how your data is handled.

2 Contact

(1) Purpose of processing

We process your personal data that you provide to us by email, contact form, etc. to answer and process your inquiries. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, without providing your email address, we cannot reply to you by email.

(2) Legal basis

  1. a) If you have given us your express consent to process your data, Art.6 Para.1a) GDPR is the legal basis for this processing.
  2. b) If we process your data to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art.6 Para.1b) GDPR is the legal basis.
  3. c) In all other cases (especially when using a contact form), Art.6 Para.1f) GDPR is the legal basis.

 

RIGHT OF OBJECTION: You have the right to object to data processing that is carried out on the basis of Art.6 Para.1f) GDPR and does not serve direct advertising, for reasons arising from your particular situation, at any time.

In the case of direct advertising, however, you can object to processing at any time without giving reasons.

(3) Legitimate interest

Our legitimate interest in the processing is to communicate with you quickly and to answer your inquiries cost-effectively. If you provide us with your address, we reserve the right to use it for direct postal advertising. You can protect your interest in data protection by sharing data sparingly (e.g. using a pseudonym).

Your data will be deleted if the circumstances indicate that your request or the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

If a contract is concluded, however, the data required under commercial and tax law will be stored by us for the legally specified periods, i.e. usually ten years (cf. §257 HGB, §147 AO).

If processing is carried out based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

3 Information about cookies

(1) Purpose of processing

Technically necessary cookies are used on this website. These are small text files that are stored in or by your Internet browser on your computer system.

(2) Legal basis

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR.

(3) Legitimate interest

Our legitimate interest is the functionality of our website. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles. This protects your interest in data protection.

(4) Storage period

The technically necessary cookies are usually deleted when the browser is closed. Permanently stored cookies have a lifespan of varying lengths, from a few minutes to several years.

(5) RIGHT OF OBJECTION

If you do not want these cookies to be stored, please deactivate the acceptance of these cookies in your Internet browser. However, this can result in a restriction of the functionality of our website. You can also delete permanently stored cookies at any time via your browser.

§ 4 Your rights as a data subject

If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you have the following rights vis-à-vis us as the responsible party:

  1. Right to information

You can request information about your personal data processed by us within the scope of Art. 15 GDPR.

  1. Right to rectification

If the information concerning you is no longer correct, you can request rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can request completion.

  1. Right to erasure

You can request the erasure of your personal data under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR.

  1. Right to restriction of processing

Within the framework of the provisions of Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request that the processing of data concerning you be restricted.

  1. Right to data portability

According to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have made available to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another responsible party.

  1. Right to revoke the declaration of consent under data protection law

According to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, you have the right to revoke your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. This does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

  1. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the GDPR, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged violation) under Art. 77 GDPR.

Please also note your right of objection under Art. 21 GDPR:

  1. a) General: justified objection required

If the processing of personal data concerning you takes place

– to protect our overriding legitimate interest (legal basis under Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR) or

– in the public interest (legal basis under Art. 6 Para. 1 e) GDPR),

you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on the provisions of the GDPR.

In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

  1. b) Special case of direct marketing: a simple objection is sufficient

If the personal data concerning you is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to this processing at any time and without giving reasons; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for these purposes.
